Making Every Move Better
The vision for Spot On Moving began with a pick-up truck, happy clients, and referrals that spread quickly. Thomas Belk, a Charlotte, NC native, graduated from High Point University and initially worked at an advertising agency. However, his entrepreneurial spirit soon led him to take business courses at The University of North Carolina at Charlotte.
Owning a pick-up truck, friends would ask him to help move furniture and other items around town. As he honed his skills with local moves, people began to refer his services to others for a seamless moving experience. What started as a few moves quickly grew into a full-fledged moving business.
Local moves expanded to long-distance ones, starting on the East Coast and eventually spanning cross-country. Thomas built a reliable schedule for his clients, earning him a renowned reputation in the industry. His expertise attracted interior designers and other professionals, including notable clients like The Webb Company in Charlotte, who trusted him with moving priceless valuables.
After over eight years in business, Thomas wanted to help more people experience a great move. He established Spot On Moving to revolutionize the moving process, offering his expertise from start to finish and ensuring everyone enjoys a better move.
